I love DC
Last night at the IOTA Club & Cafe was amazing. I'll be honest... there's times when it seems like things can't get any worse. We drive 500 miles each way to play 45 minutes for a crowd of 10 people, blow a tire on the way home, and get no sleep before it's daylight again. Then there's nights like last night in DC. The drive was great - in fact, Bessie (our van) was flawless. We got to the club on time, had an easy load in, met up with the bands No Second Troy and The States (all great guys), had the free band pasta that IOTA serves up (mmmm!), and had a kick ass show for a tremendous crowd. On top of it all, people were celebrating St. Paddy's Day, so you know this little Irish boy was dancing a jig. It's nights like last night that really make everything we do worthwhile. Thanks for reminding us, DC. Here's a few pics...
